"In 2001, Brad Alexander started the first ever dueling piano show in NYC at O’Flaherty’s Ale House on Restaurant Row. He later ventured out as a freelance performer and met fellow dueler James Barr. Together they formed THE FLYING IVORIES (that's us!). And now we produce shows at 17 venues across the northeast with a roster of 30 players bookable through our offices in Austin, Boston, New York and Philadelphia. Whether dueling or solo, it’s always an all-request, rock and roll singalong - for three straight hours our players fully engage the audience with a madcap mashup of music and comedy.  What really makes our shows special is our audiences.
